What an unforgettable Women's Day celebration!

Every year Zambia is excited and prepares for International Women’s Day Commemoration country wide. Yesterday , Vilole Images Productions-Women and Girls Disability Rights of Zambia (VIP-WoGDRoZ) stood shoulder to shoulder with the world in celebrating Women's Day in grand style, under the inspiring theme: "Invest in Women and Girls: Accelerate Progress."

VIP-WoGDRoZ in promoting inclusion and full participation of women with disabilities appreciated the theme as “Inspire Inclusion! Invest in Women and Girls with Disabilities, Accelerate Progress and Bring Hope to the Hopeless!" Women with disabilities marched majestically and at bay proudly joined join the march passed.

This year Livingstone was honoured to have the President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia grace the occasion. This was really exciting because his presence marked an historic moment as this was the first time the President celebrated Women's Day outside Lusaka in Zambian history. We are proud to be part of the history.

Many thanks to the Mayor of the city of Livingstone, Gender Division and Kynnysry for your support to promoting a friendly and inclusive community that Leaves No Woman and girls with a Disability Behind.

Let's cherish this milestone and continue our journey towards empowering women and girls, with inclusion of women and girls with disabilities across our nation. Together, let's invest in their futures and accelerate progress for a brighter tomorrow. 🌍 👩‍🦰
