This picture made us cry😭

We are in Chibote village of Northern Province. There is no internet here. Life is unforgiving, and this boy has given up on school-not out of choice, but because his father cannot afford books and uniforms for both children. Yet he refuses to let his young sister walk the 10km journey alone.

As he waits, he has devoted himself to protecting the sister, riding her to and from school each day.

To share this photo, we had to hire a motorbike and travel nearly 4km before climbing a hill where a faint signal could finally be found.

They need Books, shoes and uniforms.
