Lusaka Eye Hospital was founded in November of 2001 as a Seventh-day Adventist healthcare institution. Since then it has been a center of excellence for eye care services throughout Zambia. Each year, more than 20,000 patients entrust their eyes to Lusaka Eye Hospital.

Today the hospital has the most up to date eye testing and diagnostic equipment. The optical dispensary is run by licensed opticians and incorporates the latest in eyewear, innovative ophthalmic lens and has a large selection of vintage glasses.
