Thrilled to announce our partnership with Genesis Mwamba and his team at the Lead Me Back Foundation. At The MentalLiberty Foundation, we're dedicated to making our impact more sustainable and measurable.

Children experiencing mental health challenges often face academic setbacks and lack the resources to continue their education. Through this partnership and with funding from Dartmouth, we are committed to sponsoring five children, providing them with all the necessary school funding to support their education. Additionally, The MentalLiberty Foundation will leverage its resources to connect these children with essential mental health services.

The MentalLiberty Foundation and the Lead Me Back Foundation share a strong alignment of goals and values. We believe this collaboration is a significant step toward creating sustainable impact, and we are fully committed to supporting Genesis Mwamba and his vision for the Lead Me Back Foundation.

Transcending Boundaries on

As we reflect on this crucial World Mental Health Day, let's delve into a dialogue that intertwines mental health, community engagement, and the vast terrains of global health.

In a world where mental health invariably impacts overall well-being, both on individual and global spectrums, our journey at The MentalLiberty Foundation has soared beyond advocacy, sculpting a robust framework of scalable mental health interventions across Zambia and Southern Africa, with an unwavering spirit and a focused intent.

From 50% to 100% Coverage Across Zambia:
Between 2021-2022, The MentalLiberty Foundation successfully traversed 50% (5/10 Provinces) of Zambia's terrain, bridging gaps in mental health support. Today, it’s with buoyant pride and gratitude that we herald our expansion to a sweeping 100% coverage across Zambia.

Rooting in Community, Elevating Impact:
The linchpin to our widespread impact? Community Health Workers - our cherished, 100+ “ ” - have been the cornerstone of our widespread impact, amplifying awareness and igniting tangible change within underserved communities (rural and urban) by utilizing their profound, intrinsic knowledge, experiences, and capacities.

Strengthening the Chain with Provincial Coordinators:
Championing our cause further, we welcome onboard dedicated Provincial Coordinators from every province. Their synergy with community health workers will fortify our existing frameworks and enhance the outreach and effectiveness of our programs and projects throughout Zambia. We are now actively orchestrating outreach programs and projects in each province, invigorating our networks, resources, and expertise to forge a healthful future for our nation’s youth.

Weaving Together an Interconnected Future:
Our Provincial Coordinators and “ ” will merge their efforts, weaving a strategically sound and culturally rich tapestry that extends across every province, concurrently giving birth and nurture to influential mental health initiatives. In this synergy, the interplay between grassroots community work and macro-level strategic planning emerges as a crucible where impactful health initiatives are meticulously conceived, developed, and deployed with precision, ensuring their contextual relevance and effectiveness in our methodologies.

Onward to Impacting 1M+ Youths by 2025:
Together, leveraging the might of community spirit and expert coordination, we set a bold yet grounded trajectory towards our next milestone: Positively impacting OVER 1 MILLION youths in Zambia by 2025! 🚀

We invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Share, engage, and let's co-create a future where mental well-being is within reach for all.
