Part time Sonographer

We are seeking a suitably qualified Sonographer, preferably one familiar Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasonography for a part time position. We are a clinic based in New Olympia in Lusaka, that specialises in Womens health and have modern Ultrasound machine with advanced features including 4D capability.

The role involves
- Performing ultrasound examinations on patients
- Producing images resulting from the ultrasound examinations
- Interpreting ultrasound images to aid the doctor with the patient diagnosis
- Addressing patients’ concerns before, during and after ultrasound examinations
- Keeping up to date records of scans performed and images produced

The minimum qualifications and skills required include
- A grade 12 Certificate or above
- Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or a Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- Computer literate
- Good communications skills
- Professionalism

Happy New Year from all the staff at a Mutema Chime Health Clinic. Despite a challenging year, thank you for allowing us to take care of your health needs during 2021.

We look forward to providing you with an even better service and care in 2022.

We do have some exciting changes to our service as this year begins. This includes the purchase of a brand new laboratory machine that allows us to offer you a wide range of new tests including hormone tests within minutes and on site.

We are also excited to offer you 4D ultrasound baby scans, as well as other range of ultrasound services particularly related to gynaecology and obstetrics. These services will start as soon as our brand new ultrasound machine is delivered within the next few weeks.

We also have two new consultant doctors who will start working with us from later on this month. They will work as a team with Dr Mwandila and they also specialise in women’s health.
