A traumatic event or experience is an incident that causes physical, emotional, spiritual or psychological harm. This means that the person who is experiencing or has experienced this event may feel threatened, anxious or frightened as a result of the event. In most cases it is difficult for the person to accept that the event had happened and how to respond to it.
Traumatic events destroy a person's self esteem and the way they relate to others. They create a very big gap between the relationships they have with family and friends.
A traumatic experience brings fear in a person's safety and the way they look at the world, there safely is threatened as they fear the reoccurrence of the same event.
Traumatized people usually feel abandoned and alone, from there disconnection comes in and overtakes every relationship that was created for example family, friends and the community at large.

If you know any ways to deal with traumatic events please leave them in the comment section below
Thank you
