The Government of Eswatini, with support from The Global Fund, is launching a comprehensive transformation of its Central Medical Stores (CMS) to strengthen supply chain effectiveness and improve health outcomes in the country. Over the next two years, PICMA will provide technical assistance to help transition the CMS into a semi-autonomous entity.

The project will focus on:

🔹 Organizational design
🔹 HR and workforce development
🔹 Supply chain operations reengineering
🔹 Fostering a culture of continuous improvement

From November 18–21, the PICMA team had the privilege of kicking off this critical initiative with key representatives from the Eswatini Government and Ministry of Health, including the Prime Minister and Minister of Health.

We are grateful for the collaboration and look forward to working together to enhance healthcare delivery across this beautiful nation.

We are to announce we have been awarded one of USAID - US Agency for International Development's prime IDIQ contracts for Global Health Supply Chain NextGen Comprehensive Technical Assistance (NextGen Comprehensive TA). This NextGen award recognizes Panagora’s expertise and track record in global health monitoring, evaluation, and learning, knowledge management and communications, and global coordination and collaboration. This includes our work over eight years as a subcontractor on the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project.

We look forward to continuing and expanding our work in and and helping ensure communities everywhere have reliable access to high-quality and affordable medicine and health commodities they need. Wrapping up an eventful week in Nairobi at the Global Health Supply Chain Summit ( ). We want to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Iain Barton (Health4Development/NewPharmaCo Africa), Jessica Vernon (Maisha Meds) and Priscilla Muhiu (MYDAWA) for sharing their insights and learnings during our session on expediting self-reliance.
