Let's continue the fight against HIV/AIDS, reaching more communities and promoting awareness on this epidemic.
Just like any other disease HIV is just a virus that is affecting our brothers and sisters, mothers, Aunties, Fathers and Uncles. Having this virus does not mean that a person will die anytime NO.

HIV affects the Immune System of a human. Just as its name is defined as the Human Immunal- deficiency Virus(HIV), this virus decreases the normal functioning of the Immune System. If the person is on Antiretroviral Therapy (ART medication), they can leave a normal life like any person does...

Zambia will this Friday, 1st December, 2023 join the rest of the world to commemorate World AIDS Day under the theme; “Let Communities Lead.”
The theme is aimed at making community members less passive in deciding how to improve their lives by increasing their participation in decision making and holding authorities accountable.
The theme also highlights the need to scale-up programs that are needed by communities to end AIDS by removing barriers limiting their access to services and creating an enabling environment that empowers them.
While the event will be held throughout the country, the national level commemoration will be held at Lusaka’s OYDC Stadium. The Minister of Health Honourable Sylvia T. Masebo will be the Guest of Honour.
