Matero Hospital received Unilever Zambia in conjunction with EXP who came to donate baby Hampers to the Mothers in Maternity ward. The Team was led by brand ambassador Michie Zambia’s Sweetheart. Donating to maternity is a direct investment in the health, safety, and well-being of the next generation and the people who bring them into the world. It's a gesture that honors the miracle of birth and supports families during one of the most vulnerable and transformative times of their lives. Do not relent in doing good!

Hospital HODs attending a training is 5s, Kaizen and TQM model orientation. 5S creates the stable environment needed for Kaizen to be effective. Kaizen is the Engine of Continuous Improvement and together, they form the core operational practices that bring the strategic vision of TQM to life. We are making improvements as our goal is to service the Patient better.

Matero First Level Hospital has established a centre of excellence in Comprehensive abortions care services in our MVA room. Thanks to IPAS Zambia who have partnered with the Hospital in provision of the equipment and other medical supplies. Today we were privileged to have received a Gynecological bed and Sexual Reproductive Health assorted items. We are grateful to IPAS Zambia for this good gesture.

Matero Hospital had Technical Support Service (TSS) and mentorship spearheaded by Lusaka Provincial CNO Mbangwenta with PNO Kandyata and nursing officers from various first level hospitals and Constituecies of Lusaka. Matero Hospital received some baby hampers from the Umoja islamic foundation". They blessed all babies in Maternity and Peads NICU. We appreciate the gesture and we continue to urge the Community not to relent in doing good. This reflects core principle foundation emphasizing the virtue of generosity and the blessing that comes from giving rather than receiving.
