Dr. Mphande - Neurosurgeon performed an L4โ€“L5 spinal fusion on a patient living with lumbar spondylolisthesis, a condition where one spinal bone slips out of place and causes instability, pain and difficulty with movement.

The procedure was done to stabilise the , relieve pressure, and restore proper alignment. The spine was secured to prevent further slippage.

Earlier this week, Dr. Miti and the neurosurgical team recently carried out a craniotomy resection on an adult male who came in with a tumour located on the right side of his brain.

Thank you to the entire team who made it possible.
Our anesthesiologists kept the patient stable the whole time, the scrub nurse handled every instrument, the circulating nurses kept the room running smoothly, and the theatre technicians prepared everything long before the patient was brought in.
