Position Title: Biomedical Technologist

Position Type: Full Time

Location : Lusaka

Job Profile:
1. Sample collection • ( Pediatrics and Adults)
2. Sample Processing • (Haematology, Clinical chemistry,Immunology Microbiology and other specialised tests
3. Reporting to the patients and clinicians
4. Quality control and assurance implementation
5. Adherence to Safety rules and regulations
6. Maintaining stock usage and expiry
7. Outsourcing and tracking reports and Maintaining Confidentiality
8. Generating monthly reports and submission

Qualification & Requirements:
Diploma in biomedical Science
Registered with HPCZ
Fresher or 1-2 years experience
Good Computer Skills, Proficiency in Lab management software and Microsoft Office
Training in public health or other related field is an advantage.

The new consolodated guidlines for HIV management require that all patient hiv posive clients access viral load test. As scientits we need to work hard to ensure every client have acces to better services. Moh with partiners like Fhi360 have embacked on research in three provinces on exploring posibilities of using DBS /dry blood spot and dry plasma spot to estimage viral load. If this research succeeds. Our rural community will access services everywhere
