The time we take to train with our security guards and everyone is invaluable, not only to improve as an individual but also to grow as a team.

The whole process is about more than maintaining currency or raising our efficiency. It’s about connecting with our process and it’s also serves to maintain our identity. There is no better feeling than putting the other things down and getting on the tools with the group.

SELFDEFENCE TIPS

A perennial favourite, the eye gouge is exactly what it sounds like.

Either two fingers are thrust into the eyes sockets or two thumbs. Fingers are aimed to slide in under the eyeballs while thumbs should be aimed for the inner corners of the eye, near the nose. Either way, the goal is to scoop the eyes out or crush them inside the occipital cavity.

Tears won't bring back what is gone. But a smile, and gratitude will make you stronger. So whatever life gives you even if it hurts, just be strong and act the way you always do. Because strong walls shake but never collapse.
