💖 Know the Signs. Trust Your Gut. Your Health Journey Matters. 💖
The team at the Diagnostic Imaging Centre is dedicated to supporting every step of your health journey. Our theme is simple but powerful: , Every Journey Matters.

Finding breast cancer early is the most important factor for successful treatment. It all starts with knowing what is normal for you and seeking help the moment something changes.
🛑 MOST CRUCIAL SIGNS & SYMPTOMS TO LOOK FOR:
1. Lump or Thickening: This is the most common sign. Feel for anything new or different.
2. Skin Changes: Redness, dimpling (like an orange peel), or irritation.
3. Ni**le Changes: A ni**le turning inward, unusual discharge, or flaking skin.
4. Swelling in the armpit or collarbone area.
If you notice ANY of these changes, please don't wait. Getting checked out quickly by a doctor is crucial.

We are here to provide fast, accurate diagnostic tests, including Breast MRI and Ultrasounds, with compassion and care.

Tag a friend who needs this reminder! Call us at 08677009869; 0242 701455/6 or visit our any of our branches at 17 Lanark, Belgravia, or Medical Specialist Centre, 8 Elsworth, corner Second Street, Belgravia to book your screening.

🌸 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🌸

, Every Journey Matters! Taking care of your health starts with awareness, and at the Diagnostic Imaging Centre (DIC), we encourage everyone to make regular breast self-examinations a priority. Early detection truly can make all the difference!

A self-exam only takes a few minutes. Here are the 4 Simple Steps to guide you:
1. Use the pads of your fingers—not the tips—of your three middle fingers.
2. Follow a spiral pattern, using varying pressure and massaging your fingers in a spiral motion starting at the ni**le and working your way outwards.
3. Cover all areas! This includes the top near your collarbone, the centre by your backbone, and the sides near your armpits.
4. Check for discharge by gently squeezing your ni**les to ensure there is no unusual discharge.

Remember, breast self-exams should be performed regularly, but they are not a substitute for professional screenings. If you notice any changes or have concerns, please consult your healthcare provider or visit the Diagnostic Imaging Centre for a comprehensive ultrasound or MRI Breast scan.

Take control of your health today!

Throwback Thursday: Prioritizing Your Health for Breast Cancer Awareness

It's Throwback Thursday, and we're bringing back an important message from our archives to keep the conversation going: Early detection saves lives!

We were inspired by Manisha Koirala's powerful words: "Early detection is key. Listen to your body, and don't be afraid to get a second opinion."

At the Diagnostic Imaging Centre, this wisdom holds true year-round. We continue to advocate for the power of knowledge and timely action.

Why This Message Still Matters
• Listen to Your Body: Paying attention to changes and acting on concerns is the first and most critical step. If something doesn't feel right, seek professional advice.
• The Power of Screening: Regular screenings can make all the difference. Early detection can dramatically improve outcomes for breast cancer and many other conditions.
• Seek a Second Opinion: Remember, getting a second opinion isn't about mistrust; it's about making sure you have all the information to make the best possible decisions for your health.

We remain committed to providing our diagnostic imaging services with expert care and compassion.

Don't put off your health. Schedule your appointment today and take that important step towards peace of mind!
