Caregiver burnout is real! The caregiver's focus is so often on their loved one that they neglect their own health and well-being.

It is important for caregivers to have time for their own health and well being and solutions are available.
1. Consider hiring an in-home nurse aide to assist with your loved ones care needs and provide the primary care giver with the opportunity to rest.
2. Enrol the loved one for a short stay at an assisted living residence such as Cathemmah House to allow the caregiver to go on holiday and have some relief from caregiving responsibilities.
