Friend, if you are blessed, bless others. At Jona Clinic we have patients who come in for care but do not have enough money to cover both consultation and medication. Please consider donating to the organization so that no man, woman or child will be left behind. www.hopeformtshabezi.org It has been said that health is wealth. You can also donate to us on Amazon Smile when you shop. Hope for Mtshabezi Inc.
Our consultation fee is less than $10.00 USD but most people do not have that kind of money. In his book "The cathedral within", Bill Shore writes " I refuse to accept the world the way it is". Neither should we. A $10 donation per month will go a long way to supplement for those who can't afford to pay.

We keep pressing on in spite of all the challenges we face. It is worthy it for us. When we treat a very ill child and they come back for review with a broad pain free smile, we celebrate. When an elderly person comes in with dilapidating backache and we care for them then meet them at the business center a few days later walking straight we quietly say a prayer of thanksgiving. They always thank us for life improved. When they can go back to the fields to work or walk to church pain free, it warms our hearts. It would warm yours too.

We are there to serve the very young to the very old with professionalism, compassion, respect and dignity.

If you have a birthday coming up, consider asking friends and family to donate to us in your honor. Someone you do not even know will be happy and blessed because of your generosity. We appreciate you.
For those of you who have been our partners for the past 17 years, thank you!! Let us not get weary of doing good, according to the Apostle Paul.

There is no denying that Zimbabwe is a beautiful country with beautiful people. But it has also improved my faith and prayer life in big way. Every other week I cross this Maleme bridge on my way to Jona Clinic from Bulawayo. Our Nurse in Charge does too. As I approach it, only one song comes to mind "The Lord is my Shepherd"- Psalm 23. I sing it very loudly and hope the concrete will miraculously resuscitate itself. It never does. I also pray that for the safety of everyone who crosses that bridge, someone will donate funds to get it repaired.
Anyone with relatives in Maphane, Simpumpumpu, Mayezane, Gqalaza, Sizeze, Makwe and villages in between, please consider getting this bridge rebuilt. We are grateful that so far there has not been any mishap, but the wiser thing would be pro-activity. Would you not agree? By the way it is not a flat bridge, there is a significant drop on both sides of the bridge, The picture does not reveal the real condition. It is a huge safety concern for most of us.

One day we found this cute guy stuck in the fence. Owl? Yeah owl!! Totally harmless. He/she must have been coming for mice in the garden and got disoriented.
He/she was rescued and flew away to freedom. Teachable moment for us as some of our staff members do not care too much for owls. Belief systems differ from culture to culture concerning night birds. We are multi- purpose clinic after all.

Only 5 minutes' walk from the clinic. They now have running water and they are hoping to get solar system installation soon.
Landscaping to follow. Construction was completed in June 2022.

Who would have imagined? Beautiful ruins in Mayezane!! This is only about 6 km (3.7 miles) from Jona Clinic. The team went hiking up Mayezane mountain for fundraising. This was one of the best times they had outside work. There is more to see and enjoy on the way to the mountain and on top. The view!! Breathtaking!!
