On the 3rd January 2019, the Lions Club Gweru met Ln Jose from Brazil who is walking through Africa to raise awareness on disability. Ln Jose started his walk on 3rd November 2019 from Kwazulu Natal. The journey will end in Cairo on 31st December 2020

Today Gweru Lions Club, partnered with INNSCOR , 95.8 FM Radion Station and the local city council to clean the Kudzanai Bus Terminus. The bus terminus is a populated by lots of vendors and unfortunately not all of them ( some of their customers included ) uphold the principle of throwing litter in bins. *.
