🌸 Understanding an Incompetent (Weak) Cervix 🌸

During pregnancy, your cervix stays firm and closed to keep your baby safe.

But for some women, it may begin to open too early in a condition called incompetent or weak cervix.

This often happens without pain or contractions and can lead to preterm birth or miscarriage, especially in the second trimester.

💡 What Causes It?

✅Previous cervical surgery or injury
☑️Complicated past deliveries
✅Congenital (born with) weakness
☑️Hormonal or tissue problems

🩺 Possible Warning Signs:

⭕Mild pelvic pressure
🚫Light spotting or discharge
