Deaf Awareness Week 2025
This week, we stand in solidarity with the Deaf community to celebrate identity, culture, and the power of sign language.
Let’s amplify the message: “No Human Rights Without Sign Language Rights.”
Together, we break barriers, build inclusion, and honor the voices that speak through hands.

World Alzheimer’s Day September 21st
Today, we pause to honor the millions of lives touched by Alzheimer’s disease. It’s a day to raise awareness, offer compassion, and stand in solidarity with those with dementia and their caregivers.
Alzheimer’s may steal memories, but it cannot erase love, dignity, or the strength of the human spirit.
Let’s talk about dementia. Let’s break the stigma. Let’s be the voice for those who can no longer speak for themselves.
Together, we can build a world that remembers to care. @ followers Deaf Women IncludedUnesco Regional Office for Southern AfricaDeaf Zimbabwe TrustTOSE Respite CARE HOMEVision Ability Zimbabwe Kukura Neshungu InstituteTsebo ZimbabweEqual ZimbabweNational Council of Disabled Persons of ZimbabweNetOneCABSColcomNestléZB Financial Holdings

Today, NASCOH, together with other project partners, conducted an accessibility assessment at an international company as part of our Economic Empowerment Project to promote inclusive work environments. This effort helps businesses ensure their spaces are welcoming and accessible to all, regardless of ability.

Disability inclusion is not just a checkbox, it’s a bold choice that leads to stronger, more united workplaces.

Let’s keep pushing for spaces that reflect the diversity and strength of our communities.
