On the 9th of May 2021, one of our pillars and senior employees left us to be with the Lord. Ironically this happened on Mother’s day, a day she had been passionate about over the years, pushing management to source and buy merchandise for mothers. As a mother, naturally her choices weren’t wrong either as the stocks will fly off our shelves .She will wrap the various merchandise with a smile despite all the problems she will be shouldering. Your energy in these activities will be greatly missed by our family, at QV Pharmacies.
Your infectious hard work, hard talk, hard biting questions, hard scenarios and comparisons, and mature compromises on various sticking points in the workers committee and other meetings are other key attributes, you have left a void on.
Sinikiwe started in loss control moved to the till operator duties following the multi skilling exercise, which later propelled her to the cosmetics department, a position she held until her untimely and shocking death. I know we all have heavy hearts, are heartbroken, shocked, in pain, but must also be in total submission to the Will of God on his timing.
To the remaining children, find solace and comfort from the friends, neighbours, colleagues, and the excellent life foundation your mother taught, emphasized and left in you, and through you for us to always remember, Sinikiwe Gore. You have sadly lost a mother, but, in all of us you have found a ‘’mother’’ through our association with Sinikiwe.
Sinikiwe Gore, may you rest in eternal peace. You fought your race with grace and energy. Rest in beauty. We shall dearly miss you.
