For the longest time, I thought healing from the inside out was only about mindset work, prayer, therapy, and doing the deep emotional healing. And while that has been such a huge part of my journey through Joy Activated, I’ve also realised something important… our bodies are speaking too.
I began noticing that no matter how much inner work I was doing, there were seasons where I still felt exhausted, my skin looked tired, my hair was thinning, my energy was low, and my body just felt... off.
And that’s when I started learning that as women, we carry so much emotionally, spiritually, mentally, physically. And sometimes our bodies need support too.
I’m not a doctor, but over the years I’ve intentionally learned what works for my body:
✨ being mindful of what I eat
✨ drinking more water
✨ taking the right supplements and vitamins my body was lacking
✨ learning about hormones and stress
✨ resting properly
✨ creating healthier routines
And I’ve seen the difference firsthand.
My hair started growing back healthier.
My skin became more vibrant.
My energy improved.
I began feeling like myself again, aligned from the inside out.
And it hit me… true healing is holistic.
It’s prayer and proper nutrition.
It’s therapy and rest.
It’s mindset work and caring for your physical body.
Women need so much support just to show up fully every day, and I’m becoming more passionate about helping women understand that there is no shame in needing tools, support, and guidance along the journey.
Honestly, I laugh sometimes because God truly has a sense of humour I’ve always been a very private person and not necessarily someone who shares every part of my personal journey. But I also don’t want to be a gatekeeper of things that have genuinely helped me heal and feel whole again.
So here I am… ready to share more.
Ready to have honest conversations about healing.
Ready to help women become the healthiest, happiest, most whole versions of themselves.
This next chapter of Joy Activated feels deeply personal, but also incredibly purposeful.
Healing from the inside out is possible and I’m excited to walk this journey with other women.
