Hallo ❤️!

The Swan song my ❤️......

Taking a few moments to go down memory lane by reposting some of our favourite posts over the last few seasons….

All are thought-provoking. Our brain cells do need exercise too …..

One shows our battle with weight and potentially what a friend would do – good or bad? Importantly using laughter as the best medicine ❤️.

The second a reminder to live and not take things for granted.

The third a reminder of what health is….

New word…baddassery

And lots of information pertinent to your health as a female (and some applied to both genders)...Take note of this one in particular. This was the crux and pith of the platform...

Life ‘yakashaker yakashaker’ in this season as in most...

Makes us think of bears that have it on their calendars to go into hibernation every winter. They go into a lighter state of sleep called torpor. Hibernation is a voluntary state an animal enters to conserve energy for many reasons.

We are going offline for the coming season to rest, rejuvenate, recalibrate, to ponder…

We have had a blast engaging you on this platform. It has been a privilege. We hope we made a small difference in your existence. Thank you. We hope you continue to thrive.

We will keep you posted after ‘Winter’.

For now …‘Winter is coming’.

❤️C.G.

❤️This year’s theme is ‘It is Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace' - Work can have a huge impact on our mental health. It can be good for our mental health, giving us a sense of purpose, boosting our self-worth, and providing opportunities to connect with others. But it can also be a source of stress and anxiety and contribute to developing or worsening mental health problems.

Many people spend a lot of their time working, whether that’s in the community, in an office, a workshop, at home, or many other workplaces.

That’s why it’s so important that our workplace supports our mental health, helping us get the mental health benefits of work while reducing the negative impact.

There are many things that contribute to a mentally healthy workplace, from providing staff training on mental health to tackling discrimination and bullying. Importantly, a mentally healthy workplace supports open conversations about mental health.

Let’s join the Tea & Talk campaign or better still do our own Tea Talk in the office to find time to support each other at work and perhaps destress over a cuppa.
