Albinism in Africa is still poorly understood. However there has been much effort made to spread awareness about the condition. One such effort is by Rufaro Rufaz Chinyanga who wrote a touching poem about the plight of people with albinism from a personal perspective. The same title was used by award winning filmmakers Tsitsi Grace Madoda and Stephen Chikosi to tell the story of albinism from an African perspective.
