"Media Training Initiative for Enhanced Nutrition Storytelling in Zimbabwe"

Our network is hosting two comprehensive, full-day media training sessions for esteemed journalists from print and electronic media outlets. The training, themed Amplifying Nutrition Voices in Zimbabwe through Strategic Media Engagement, is designed to equip participants with advanced storytelling techniques to craft engaging and impactful nutrition narratives.

Through expert-led sessions, participants will acquire the skills to develop compelling stories that transcend statistical data, incorporating visualization, narrative descriptions, quotes, and impact statements to captivate their audience. By empowering journalists to effectively communicate nutrition information, we aim to:

- Influence policy decisions and drive social behavior change towards healthier eating habits
- Enhance the accessibility and memorability of nutrition information for the target audience
- Expand the reach of nutrition messages and foster meaningful conversations around nutrition

This initiative underscores our commitment to promoting informed discourse and strategic media engagement on nutrition issues in Zimbabwe.
