Sunningdale Medical Center in Harare seeks an ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role involves managing tasks such as assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the company. Monitoring cash flow and analyzing financial data to ensure the company’s financial health, along with various other activities critical to the company’s success. We need a candidate with expertise in costing, budgeting and forecasting to provide accurate financial projections. The candidate should have the ability to manage, reconcile general ledgers and financial records efficiently. The candidate should have strong communication skills to present financial information to management and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Presents and analyzes financial reports and makes recommendations to stakeholders on strategic and operational decisions.
Manages budgets and ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Expertise in costing, budgeting and forecasting to provide accurate financial projections.
Prepares financial forecasts and monitors key performance indicators.
Maintains the accounting system and ensures data integrity and security.
Oversees all financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Monitors cashflows and optimizes the use of financial resources.
Creates monthly management accounts and provides accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
Supervises junior staff and provides coaching and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Full Professional Qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA or CIS
At least 3 years of experience in a senior finance role
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, such as Pastel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent business acumen skills.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Midwife to join our dedicated team. We are committed to providing high-quality maternal care and empowering women throughout their pregnancy journey. As a Midwife, you will play a crucial role in advocating for the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their families. If you are passionate about supporting women and promoting informed choices, we would love to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, ensuring that the voices and choices of mothers are central to their care plans.
Advocate for patients by actively listening to their concerns and preferences, and ensuring these are respected in all aspects of their care.
Conduct routine assessments and screenings to monitor the health of mother and baby, while educating patients about their options and rights.
Support and empower expectant mothers through education on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care, fostering an environment of informed decision-making.
Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, advocating for necessary resources and interventions.
Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that prioritizes the emotional and physical needs of mothers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting advocacy efforts and patient interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
Midwifery diploma or degree
Valid practicing certificate.
At least 3 years post qualification experience in a private hospital will be an added advantage
Strong understanding of obstetric practices and maternal health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient advocacy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Other professional certificates such Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiac Life Support (CLS), Obstetric Emergencies is an added advantage
