Myopia is a refractive error that makes far-away objects look blurry. It happens when the shape of the eye makes light focus in front of the retina (a light sensitive layer of tissue in the back of your eye), instead of on it.

The most common symptoms of nearsightedness are:

-Trouble seeing things that are far away
-Needing to squint to see clearly
-Eye strain (when your eyes feel tired or sore)

Blepharitis is a common disease of the eyelids characterized by redness, thickening and flakey or scaly crusting along the eyelids and eyelashes. Over time, a sticky plaque, forms along the lids, causing lash loss, clogged glands, infections and other complications.
Common symptoms of blepharitis include:
-Eyelid redness, swelling, or painful tenderness
-Foreign body sensation that is sandy or gritty
-Discharge that is watery, sticky or stringy
-Burning or stinging
-Tearing or watering
-Itching
-Light sensitivity
-Blurred vision.

Macular degeneration is an eye disease that affects central vision. This means that people with macular degeneration can’t see things directly in front of them.

Non-age-related macular degeneration may be associated with:
●Diabetes.
●Head injuries.
●Infections.
●A diet lacking in required nutrients.

Symptoms include;
●Being less able to see in low light.
●Blurred vision.
●Problems or changes in the way you see colors.
●Low vision.
●Straight lines that you see as curving or wavy. If you’re looking at lines that you know should be straight but they appear wavy or curved, you should contact an eye care provider.
●Blank spots or dark spots in your field of vision.
