The Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe (PSZ) is inviting you to a scheduled Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshop that will be held on Saturday 27 September 2025. The workshop start at 1400 Hours and it will be held at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Zimbabwe.

25 September is recognized internationally as the World Pharmacists Day. To commemorate this day, this workshop will feature a main presentation that highlights the role of pharmacists in hypertension management, followed by a panel discussion with pharmacy professionals from various sectors of the industry.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe (PSZ) and Pharmacists Against Drug Abuse (PADA), is inviting you to attend this scheduled Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshop, which will be held on Saturday 28 June 2025 at 1400hrs. The workshop venue is; ZiMA House, 172 Baines Avenue, Harare.

This event will be a commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking - 26 June. This year the theme is; “The evidence is clear: Invest in prevention”. The key presentation will be delivered by Dr Rukudzo Mwamuka.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe (PSZ) is inviting you to this physical CPD workshop scheduled for Saturday 10 May 2025.

The objective of this session is to educate pharmacists on the critical issue of doping in sports, its implications, and the role of healthcare professionals in addressing it. The workshop will be 1 hour to 2 hours long and will be delivered in person at the University of Zimbabwe (efforts are being made to also enable virtual attendance on the Zoom platform).
We will be exchanging insights on many aspects of this topic, including anti-doping regulations, banned substances, and testing procedures.

CPD program overview;
Dr. N. Munyonga – Doping in sports. The overall role of health professionals in sports,
including at Olympics games.
Mr. B. Mufakwadziya – Impact of using drugs/substances and the impact of doping, to the
user and the nation at large.
Mr. N. Muparadzi – The role of pharmacists in sports, including at Olympics games.

It will be held on Saturday 22 March 2025, at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Zimbabwe, from 1100hrs to 1300hrs.

All PSZ members will receive free certificates for attending. Non members will receive certificates at a fee.
