Diabetes continues to rise across Zimbabwe - and the numbers speak volumes.

According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), over 100,000 adults in Zimbabwe are living with diabetes, many undiagnosed.

Research published on PubMed also shows a steady increase in prevalence - from just 0.44% before 1980 to around 5.7% in recent years.

These figures highlight an urgent need for awareness, early detection, and regular screening.
If you haven’t had your blood sugar levels tested recently, now is the time.

At Well Woman Clinic, we’re here to help you take charge of your health - because prevention and early care truly make a difference.

When Gladys first found a lump, she chose to ignore it. Life was busy, she felt healthy, and it didn’t seem urgent.

Years went by before she finally saw a doctor - and that decision saved her life. Her journey is a powerful reminder that breast cancer awareness should never be confined to one month of the year. Awareness is not a campaign - it’s a commitment.

It’s about listening to your body, trusting your instincts, and seeking help when something doesn’t feel right. can make all the difference between surviving and losing precious time.

So even as October fades from our calendars, let’s carry its message forward - check yourself, speak up, and encourage the women around you to do the same. Every month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month💗
