Just back from our 5th retreat to Kenya, and forever changed by meeting Najin—one of the last two northern white rhinos left on Earth. She and her daughter, Fatu, are not just symbols of beauty and resilience, but living proof of what is at stake if we fail to act. Their existence is a reminder of the urgency we face to care for our one and only planet and all the beings who share it. Known affectionately as “the girls,” they live at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, fiercely loved and protected by rangers whose lives are devoted to conservation and the fight against extinction. 🌍
Pictured here, Kat and Laura, co-founders of Yoga For The Wild, with their mugs, along with retreat members Tara, Rick, Mandy, Erica, Caroline, Debbie, Kathleen and of course, Najin. Thanks to , lead caretaker for taking the photo!
