It’s wonderful to see so many new faces here! Hi 😄 We do yoga retreats a little differently around here; our retreats aren’t about ticking destinations, sights or animals off a list, chasing fads or learning a perfect forearm stand; they’re about stepping away and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, they’re about reconnecting with nature and it’s unique wildlife and experiencing moments that quietly stay with you long after you return home.

If you’re new to YFTW and you’re curious, we’ve just shared a little blog post that tells you a bit more who we are and what we’re doing and whether or not we’re your kinda people ❤️

Love,
Kat & Laura xoxo

Just you and the ocean and the sand between your toes 💙

Yoga classes in the bush get cancelled for all sorts of reasons, but being stuck in our rooms after lunch because the camp is surrounded by a herd of elephants is definitely our favourite 🙌🏻🐘

Zimbabwe - we’re back here in October and there’s 2 spaces left. If you love elephants, you’re going to want to be on this retreat ❤️

There are just 7 spaces left on board our November retreat to the Maldives and if you’re looking for a big adventure and to be a part of travel that makes a positive change in the world then we’d love for you to join us 💙

This retreat is in support of and the programs they fund on the ground in the Maldives, such as 🙏🏻 We’ll spend our days floating on the Indian Ocean with these and other incredible animals, exploring coral reefs, local islands and castaway sandbanks and sharing yoga practices surrounded by the ocean wilderness each day. On board we will also be joined by a Manta Trust biologist who will guide our interactions with ocean wildlife, help us better understand the threats they face and we’ll contribute to citizen science by logging our manta sightings.

“There is a sustainable future for Maldivians and their natural resources, where manta rays and their relatives thrive in healthy diverse marine ecosystems.

🏝️ The Maldives hosts the largest population of reef manta rays, and the third largest population of oceanic manta rays in the world!

🎣 Manta and devil rays in the Maldives face threats such as fishing gear entanglement, unsustainable tourism, and habitat degradation .

🔬 The Maldives Manta Conservation Programme is spearheading manta conservation through community, research and education initiatives.

Their mission is to drive the policies and practices necessary to conserve the Maldives’ manta rays, their relatives and habitats through community, research and education.”

See you there ocean lovers!

Just back from our 5th retreat to Kenya, and forever changed by meeting Najin—one of the last two northern white rhinos left on Earth. She and her daughter, Fatu, are not just symbols of beauty and resilience, but living proof of what is at stake if we fail to act. Their existence is a reminder of the urgency we face to care for our one and only planet and all the beings who share it. Known affectionately as “the girls,” they live at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, fiercely loved and protected by rangers whose lives are devoted to conservation and the fight against extinction. 🌍

Wishing you all the most wonderful 2026!! What began as a handful of online yoga classes to raise money for conservation during Covid has turned into 6 retreats (with 3 coming up in the new year), new classes and events, two new destinations, a handful of new partnerships and great conversations and a total of $51,430 raised for wildlife conservation so far 🙏🏻

Our community has grown to include the most incredible, nature-loving, generous and hilarious people. Our love for wilderness continues to grow exponentially as we discover more programs and destinations to share with you all and we’re looking forward to more traveling, exploring and practicing yoga mindfully and with a clear intention; to help make the world a better, safer place for our planet’s wildlife ❤️

Sending you all so much love, courage and kindness for the year to come. We hope to see you somewhere wild and wonderful very soon,

Laura & Kat xoxo
