Happy Friday comrades and friends. I pray you are all well and that you also had a great week. Mine was very eventful and quite exciting as well. In my capacity as Special Advisor to the President and Cabinet on National Disability issues, I had an amazing interaction with Town Clerks and Chamber Secretaries of all Urban Local Authorities as well as CEOs of all Rural District Councils. The meeting took place from Monday to Thursday in Kadoma, with the focus being on Disability Mainstreaming and inclusion in all our local authorities. The level of engagement was amazing, so were the commitments made. I am grateful to our councils for heeding the call of His Excellency President Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa of leaving no one and no place behind. On Wednesday, it was an honor to attend our Revolutionary ZANU PF Party's Politburo meeting, chaired by His Excellency President E.D Mnangagwa our President and First Secretary. I sit in the Politburo as the party's Secretary for Persons With Disability. We continue to tap into his wisdom. The focus was on our preparation for the upcoming Independence celebrations, which we, as the people of Maphisa, are honored to be hosting. Yesterday, again I was honored to attend our Central Committee meeting, where I am so grateful to be representing Persons With Disability. Next week, we, as Parliamentof Zimbabwe, will be out in full force throughout the country, consulting all of you on the proposed Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3, which I and fellow Persons With Disability fully support. I urge all of us to come out in our numbers to support the bill, which, among many issues, seeks to give your elected leadership ample time to deliver and not always keep us stuck in the election mode. I wish you all a blessed weekend.
