Marondera Veterinary Surgery

Today we were in Paradise Park in the morning and then later in the afternoon we were in Elmswood. We managed to vaccinate a total of 50 dogs today. A big thank you to the communities we visited for caring about both their animals and human public health. Vaccinations against zoonotic diseases like rabies are key in safeguarding and advancing the One Health concept where what happens in the animal population has a direct impact on the human population ( and vice versa). A total of 131 dogs have been vaccinated during this 3 day campaign. We cannot thank you enough Marondera!

There was a huge turnout today in Rusike at the Nhekairo shops. Quite impressed by the level of awareness and health seeking behaviour exhibited there. We were so busy we forgot to take pictures!. We managed to get a few pics at Dombotombo though where turnout was not as high

It's World Rabies Day on Thursday the 28th of September. We are doing a vaccination campaign in the residential areas of Marondera from the 27th through to the 29th of this month. Please come and get your pets checked and vaccinated!

We are truly grateful to these 2 COOL CATZ pictured here. Spud Whitaker on the left and Pixie Van Reenen on the right were selfless and donated their blood to help out a kitty in dire need of an emergency transfusion. Such love! They have both given poor Nibbles a fighting chance. A big thank you to Moira Whitaker, Glynis Van Reenen and Louise Griggs for making it happen. Grateful beyond words!

Great news! We now have a professional dog groomer working from the surgery. So on any given day just pop in and make an appointment with us. Newly installed bath for shampooing and dog dipping as well!
