🌾 Job Vacancy: Farm Manager – Selous, Zimbabwe 🌾
We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Farm Manager to oversee daily operations at our farm located in Selous. The ideal candidate must be willing and capable to perform work on a 800ha Virgin land that needs land clearance, field mapping and infrastructure set- up. The candidate much be visionary, hardworking, honest, trustworthy and should possess strong leadership and organizational skills to manage farm workers effectively and to start high productivity in crop and animal farming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all farm activities and workers
• Ensure timely planting, irrigation, harvesting, and overall crop/animal care
• Maintain basic farming machinery and equipment
• Monitor farm performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement
• Keep accurate records of inventory, production, and staff attendance
• Report regularly on progress and challenges to farm owners
Requirements:
• Proven 5 years experience in farm management or related agricultural role
• Diploma in Agriculture- crop/animal farming
• Class 4 driver’s license ( class 2 drivers license - added advantage)
• Hands-on experience on operating farm machinery is an added advantage
• Good leadership and management skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to achieving set goals
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
