Karanda Mission Hospital Founded in 1961, Karanda Mission Hospital is as a community based facility providing holistic care in body mind and spirit in rural Zimbabwe

Our goal is to provide an authentic Christian witness by: demonstrating the compassion of Christ through medical work; establishing and strengthening the local church through participation in spiritual ministry to patients and in outreach to local communities; educating and training Christian professionals for the medical ministry (hospital and nursing school) and to facilitate the training of leaders for the local church.

🚨 Public Notice – Beware of Fraudulent Information

It has come to our attention that a false link is circulating on social media, claiming that Karanda School of Nursing is currently recruiting Primary Care Nurse (PCN) trainees.

⚠ Please note: Karanda School of Nursing does not offer training for Primary Care Nurses. This information is false. We offer training for Registered General Nurses (RGNs) and would like to inform you that there is no class available for the September intake.

We urge the public to be vigilant and not fall victim to fraudsters. Always verify any training announcements through official channels:
• Ministry of Health and Child Care official platforms
• Government-approved advertisements

🌿✨ Today at Karanda Mission Hospital, we united for a successful cleanup campaign, honoring the President's call for a cleaner Zimbabwe! Just after World Environment Day, we embraced the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution" and took action to protect our environment. Together, we can make a difference! 💚

🌟 What an amazing week! 🌟

We celebrated our May-born staff, bid farewell to Mr. Nzapu 😔, who has been instrumental in ensuring clean running water 💦at the hospital—wishing him all the best in his future endeavors🫶🏼😊!

We also held a handover ceremony for the renovated Hostel Warden's house for the School of Nursing. Lastly, we proudly distributed 10 tonnes of maize to orphans in Ward 14.
