The Victoria Chitepo Provincial hospital now being toured by the Honourable Minister in preparation for the COVID 19 pandemic to ensure the system is ready before we get any cases.AS ground work is being done some private organisations are donating. below is a recent donation from Dairiboard of food stuffs. everyone is working against COVID19. Zimbabwe with combined efforts we will fight it. These are some of the front liners fighting the pandemic. behind them are the fore front liners of the front liners working at the screening tents, the security and the isolation unit. SERVICES OFFERED AT VICTORIA CHITEPO PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL

Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital caters for seven districts in Manicaland. We have seven clinics namely Obs and Gynae (2 specialists), Physician (1 specialist), Pediatrician (3 specialists), General Surgeon (1 specialist), Ortho surgeon (1 specialist), Dentist (1 specialist) and Dermatology (1 specialist). The hospital runs under the Medical Superintendent Dr J. D. Mutede. There is a full package of services from the nursing, laboratory, rehabilitation, radiology, pharmacy, administration and human resources. We are in partnership with MSF for non-communicable diseases and AHF for the Opportunistic infection clinic (HIV/AIDS). We also have a pastoral team which provides mental health services to health workers. All these services are being manned by highly qualified personnel. We also have a School of nursing where training for nurses is ongoing.
