Nzeve recently held a Fathersโ€™ Support Group session creating a safe space for fathers of children with disabilities to connect, reflect and support one another in their parenting journey.

The session focused on the topic of separation and divorce in marriages, exploring:
๐Ÿ”น The causes of separation and divorce
๐Ÿ”น How some fathers may contribute to marital breakdown
๐Ÿ”น The effects of separation/divorce on children
๐Ÿ”น Practical steps fathers can take to strengthen families and avoid separation

Fathers engaged in honest conversations, acknowledging the importance of being more present, responsible and supportive. They also reflected on how children with disabilities are more vulnerable when families break down and why stronger fatherly involvement is essential.

Together, we are building stronger families and shaping more inclusive communities.

Nzeve Deaf Centre | Chipinge Outreach | End of Month Highlights ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’™

Nzeve wrapped up the month in Chipinge with our routine hearing tests, strengthening our commitment to early identification, early intervention and accessible hearing care for all.

Hereโ€™s a quick look at some of the key activities:
๐Ÿ”น Routine hearing tests at Chipinge District Hospital ensuring children and adults are screened early for better hearing outcomes
๐Ÿ”น A community dialogue at Muzite Clinic raising awareness on hearing health and access to services
๐Ÿ”น An outreach at Gwenzi Clinic bringing hearing care closer to families in remote areas

These activities were carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care and the Ministry of Public Service, Labour & Social Welfare.

Together, weโ€™re making sure no one is left behind when it comes to hearing health and inclusive access to services.

Take a look at some of the highlights from the past three
days.

Nzeve Deaf Centre, in partnership with the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC), recently conducted a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) session with members of the Sanganai Deaf Club.

The session provided health education and clinical services on HIV, STIs and Family Planning services that Deaf people often have little to no access to.

By creating inclusive spaces, we are working to ensure that the Deaf community has equal access to information and healthcare.

Today, on , we honor the brave humanitarian workers who step into crises to help others and stand with the millions whose lives are at stake.

At Nzeve, we witness this courage every day in our work supporting children, youth with disabilities, and their families those whose voices are too often unheard and whose needs are overlooked.

Humanity is tested in times of crisis. When protection is denied, accountability is absent, and support is limited, the most vulnerable suffer. This is why we must to protect lives, uphold dignity and ensure no one is left behind.

Join us: speak out, support, and act. Together, we can create a world where every child, every youth, and every family is safe, valued and included. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
