🔥 The Simple Principles I Use To Stay Sober (Maybe you could too!)

· I Follow Instructions

· If I don’t understand how to do something, I will ask!

· When I am given the answer, I will share it with others, as they may not understand too!

· I will actually follow the precise, clear-cut instructions given to me.

· The work I do works on me; I must remember that if I want change in my life.

· The pain of repetition is what motivates me to seek improvement.

· I will require the skill of discipline. In simple terms, I will be obedient to the work required for change to occur in me.

· If I complain, I don’t deserve change; I should stay as I am.

· Literally millions of people have succeeded at this; I am not special but rather very blessed for the opportunity to have a second crack at life, so I will go to any lengths I can possibly muster.

· Recovery from addiction is shockingly simple, but people make it surprisingly hard. The hard comes in the form of consistency. The moment I don’t feel like doing it, or consider skipping the day, or the meeting, or the 12 Step call, is the moment I know what hard feels like!
