Activities include white water rafting, safaris tours, kayaking, river boarding Shockwave is specialized in adventurous and adrenaline type activities such as white water rafting on the Zambezi River in the Victoria Falls region in Zimbabwe. This only locally owned company challenges existing market players. We position ourselves away from mass rafting by offering first-class, small group VIP and personalized rafting trips on the Zambezi River. The company was registered in 2001 by Philani Moyo ( philani@shockrafting.com) as local Director and with the managing and marketing assistance from two professionals namely Paul Brees (paul@shockrafting.com) - businessman from Belgium and Chris Mongo a professional rafting guide from USA. Our mission is to introduce everyone who joins our exciting and educative activities to the magnificence of mother Africa and all she has to offer. Our main objective is to help our visitors make the most of their holiday in Zimbabwe-Africa's Paradise. We do all the organising according to guests specifications and we even suggest whats best for them, where to go and when. We clearly understand that a holiday is all about having Golden Moments smiles and long lasting happy memories. All our trips are run by professionals who will ensure you get an excellent rafting experience on the Zambezi any time you come rafting with us. Finally we have the most experienced staff on this industry with most of them doing their guiding overseas like USA Colorado River, Norway, Australia, Italy and South Africa, just to mention a few. We also have guides that speak multiple languages like Italian and Spanish which make it easy for the guest to feel at home all the time during their holiday. Due to our international contacts and guides interchange program we consider Shockwave as part of an international network of professional rafting companies around the world. At Shockwave safety comes first thus why every trip is escorted by an experienced Safety Kayaker whose job is to pick you up when you go for voluntary or non voluntary swim. You will get more info on the do’ s and don’ts at our check-in point.

• Communication is enabled through our hand held radios and cellphones to our town office at anytime.

• A First Aid kit is available on each and every trip

All our guides are in possession of the following courses:

• Advanced First Aid
• C.P.R
• Swift Water Rescue Technicians course

Today, we celebrate the incredible role rivers play in sustaining our planet. As we navigate the breath-taking waters around us, we are reminded of the vital ecosystems they nurture and the communities they support.
