Hypertension (high blood pressure) is when the pressure in your blood vessels is too high (140/90 mmHg or higher). It is common but can be serious if not treated.
People with high blood pressure may not feel symptoms. The only way to know is to get your blood pressure checked.
Things that increase the risk of having high blood pressure include:
older age
genetics
being overweight or obese
not being physically active
high-salt diet
drinking too much alcohol

Student Medical laboratory scientist
The Lab provides an equal opportunity to students to learn and appreciate how the science they are taught can be applied and integrated in diagnostic and investigative medicine.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Routine daily testing
Maintenance of laboratory environment (Temperature, swabbing and cleaning)
Recording and capturing of essential information
Reviewing of SOPs
Maintenance of lab equipment and analysers
Preparation of working reagents and solutions
Troubleshooting
Participate in internal and external quality protocols
And any other duties assigned by the superior
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a related field.
