The night and day cycle provides environmental cues for your body to know when it's time to be alert and when it is time to rest. However, today's technology is often overstimulating our brain with bright lights (e.g. phones, TV, video games, etc...).

If you often use technology right before sleeping and feel fatigued, it may be time to improve on your sleep hygiene.

Consider putting phones or bright screens away at least 30 minutes before bedtime.

Although it is common in children (29%) between ages 2 and 13, approximately 4% of the adult population have sleepwalked during their lives.

This can be caused by genetics, sleep deprivation, some medications, alcohol and even as a result of another sleeping disorder.
