We are very proud that our very own Raven who will be presenting at this very important event to build awareness regarding safely and preparation for our up and coming wet season, we all need to be prepaid, and that can be especially difficult for those living with a disability, an illness or the aged.

Get ready for the wet season at the Caravonica Family Fun Day!

This new community event brings together families, emergency services and local organisations to help everyone prepare for the wet season - while having plenty of fun along the way.

Learn how to build a proper sandbag wall, find out how to service your generator safely, and visit our Community Connections Tent to talk about how we can strengthen community resilience together.

Bring the kids to join Birdie for yoga and relaxation activities designed to help them stay calm in stressful situations, and meet the Fire and Ambulance crews, State Emergency Service - Far Northern Region, and Cairns Regional Council --the first to respond when disaster strikes.

There’ll be face painting, a jumping castle, live entertainment, and plenty to eat with a pizza truck, coffee and donut van, and ice-cream van on site.
