A life with purpose A Life With Purpose is a men’s group based in Cairns, Queensland, dedicated to helping and supporting men to be the best they can be.

It is our mission to bring purpose back to your life and help you find the way you want to live – through group support and open, respectful dialogue, and through communal activities like camping trips and regular discussions regarding a variety of topics to help improve your overall mental health. We operate on an 11-week ‘season’ basis, choosing a different topic to discuss every week, led by one of our facilitators. After a short talk on a subject the floor is opened to the room to discuss their thoughts and feelings on the subject, share anecdotes and collectively support one another through potentially tough, uncertain emotions. We organise camping trips at the mid-point and end of the season, where our members can come together for a weekend of activities designed to help improve mental health and get to grips with a variety of practical skills we may not have had a chance to experience before, such as fishing, whip-cracking or axe-throwing.
