Hello Beautiful People,
I run my own provider services and also still work on the ground with people. I just want to tell all the support workers that make people’s lives happier and generally better, that you aren’t just a support worker or disposable support worker, but we are the ones on the frontline doing the hard work and creating meaningful lives with our cares & ideas that mostly go unrecognised. Chances are, Support workers you may not be told of your importance & appreciation, which is why I tell my staff often of the difference they make. Mums, Dads and caregivers as well have to be jack of all trades and don’t get recognised as this is what needs to be done to care for loved ones. You don’t need a fancy title to make difference, but need genuine heart and we don’t do it for recognition, but the achievements and goals for those we support. If you don’t feel appreciated, I and many other good people recognised what you do and keep changing people’s lives for those special moments when you get to serve their achievement & happiness. SUPPORT WORKERS are treasure! Always remember we are the backbone and so we are worthy more than a Gold. God bless
