Well we saw a first on Friday for Mr. Seth!!
He’s had quite a few nicknames over the years..
Seth from Above, The Lizard Wizard!! Today we added a new one.. Mr One and Done!
Seth bought a new lure from BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing to try out since there has been a few Queenfish about. After checking his knots he cast it once and a False Trevally nailed it! We don’t know who was more surprised! Lisa caught a big hold Puffer Fish that was released.
PSA- Please be aware that snakes are out and about with all this hot weather we are having!!
Saw this 2m Night Tiger last night whilst out and about for Halloween..

Hey Fam!! Rivers been hella funky last couple of weeks with very little tidal flow. Saying that…
We can still find the fish! We welcome Kallum to the crew with a first ever catch of a juvenile Barred Gunter on a small vibe lure! Talk about joining with a bang! Nick nailed the most biggest herring and P2D2 came up with the goods on the beautiful Queenfish! It’s really starting to fire up out there so.. SLIP SLOP SLAP & SLURP!!
Hydration is the key guys.. H20 for days!

Well haven’t we been blessed with the most beautiful weather! Lots of new faces and friendships on the jetty which makes us super proud.. Mahalia and Ewan were on fire over the weekend whilst Capt. Timbo and the Ska Troopers caught a nice Blue Salmon through the week!
We just got off the jetty and Chase caught a banger of a Threadfin Salmon on a live Herring!
Too bad it was undersized and had to go back!

Capt. Ethan did. Something on Saturday we’ve never seen before too! He not only caught bait but also a Barra and a Queenfish in the one cast! Talk about lazy fishing!!

Session #1 (Northside)
When: Tuesday PM session 4-7pm weekly
Where: The Peninsula (Redcliffe coastline)

Session #2 (Southside)
When: Saturday AM session 9am-12pm weekly
Where: Wellington Point

And what do you need to bring to any of these sessions? NOTHING but a smile ☺️

We provide all: Rods, tackle, bait, seating, sun & bug protection, snacks, drinks & food. We will also fillet all legal catches you might like to take home!

Just a couple for today.

There is truly something special about going remote to reset. Phones don’t work.. Sure, you can take some tech for the moments that allow it..

What I love about going bush. Being prepared. Keeping busy in all the right ways.. Walks.. Cooking amazing food that is simple but tasty.
Sitting with your own thoughts whilst wallabies and cattle are moving through the bush.
The body reset..Going to bed early and getting up with the birds.. Fire. Keeping the flame alive even when it pours! The bush builds resilience and creates a new type of resourcefulness you probably didn’t even think you had..
A clear night sky out there needs to be seen, you kinda get put in your place a bit. Thats a good thing we reckon..

I’m happy to be able to do these things..
It’s even better when shared with others!

Father and son time on the jetty with Awesome Anglers makes for a brilliant afternoon! Hammy caught himself a whiting and a bream and MoJ got a nice jewfish on a handline!
