𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺 — 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗚𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

"He almost ignored it. Then he remembered a post he saw on October 13."

Marcus was on his third consecutive 12-hour shift. The back of his calf throbbed, but he chalked it up to fatigue.

Then he remembered World Thrombosis Day.
