👋 We've been a little quiet on socials lately, but there has been a lot of action happening here at HHHC.

💜🩵 Each Friday our wonderful Support Workers share photos with our team of the adventures they and their participants got up to during that week.

✨This is one of our team's highlights of the week. We get so much joy out of seeing everyone's smiling faces.

🩵💜 Some of our favorite activities over the past couple of weeks have included going to Sailability where our participants were able to enjoy safe, inclusive sailing on the water. Going to the Burnouts at the Cairns Speedway and enjoying an esplanade stroll, taking in the wonderful wildlife we have here in FNQ and watching the Helicopter land and take off from the pontoon.

💜🩵 You certainly won't miss us on the road in our newly wrapped yaris! It's a billboard on wheels and we are incredibly happy with the results.

💜🩵 We've had a busy week of fun activities!

Last Thursday some of our wonderful participants and staff attended a race meet day at Cannon Park. They had a front row seat in an airconditioned room and enjoyed some lunch together while watching the horses race 🏇

On Saturday, a group of our participants and staff also attended the Sailability Cairns event for the opening and naming of the new pontoon. Sailability Cairns is a volunteer-run program which offers safe, inclusive sailing and on water experiences for all people with disability. While we didn't manage to get out on the water, our participants enjoyed socialising, lunch with a waterside view and got to take in the beautiful Cairns weather on display ☀️

✨ It brings us so much joy to see our participants out in the community, connecting with others, enjoying life and reaching for their goals 🩵💜

We are extremely blessed to have a compassionate and dedicated clinical team to ensure the vulnerable people of our community have the best care.

It's a demanding and sometimes thankless job but equally rewarding. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for everything you do! The real superheroes of the world 🦸

✨ Ensuring our team is up to date with industry standards and best practice is integral in the delivery of exceptional service.

🧑‍⚕️Staff training across all high intensity supports (specific to each participant) and mediation management is delivered onsite by one of our Registered Nurses.

📚 Our team is also fully trained in Positive Behaviour Support (specific to each participant) and a number of NDS and Complex Care modules online.

🩵💜 We take our responsibility seriously, and this is why we are trusted to support so many wonderful but vulnerable participants in our community.
