Cairns Voice Studio is a Professional Vocal, Performance, Industry & Vocal Habilitation/Well Being Studio in The Northern Beaches of beautiful tropical Cairns. Directed by Keesha Mclean, CVS coach students voice, mentor performance & industry, vocal health, habilitation & well being of all ages, abilities and goals without judgement or aesthetic bias. CVS is your safe space. It's YOUR voice and YOUR journey, whether to sing for fun at home, improve vocal awareness, health, confidence or training for a professional career as a vocal artist, performer, presenter, or teacher. Protecting your vocal health is the most important thing you can do for your career and wellbeing, whether as a vocalist, actor, speaker, teacher and other vocations. Cairns Voice Studio covers regional Far North Queensland from Cooktown, Tablelands to Townsville. CVS offers online lessons for regional & rural FNQ students. Keesha is continuously researching and evolving her own vocal pedagogy, vocal health care, & professional development by regular mentoring and networking with voice and vocal health specialists nationally and in London and US. Tenni is returning to FNQ after gallivanting across the globe for the past 6 months! Her 'welcome home' show with the full band will be taking place at ANCHOR DROP 2 - Presented by Enter Stage Right & Cairns Cruising Yacht Squadron on September 13.

Tenni is 18 and ready to take on the world with her music and cheek. Her original
songs tell the stories of her life and imagination, spanning from her hate for
misogyny to metaphorical mice sitting at dining tables. You never really know with
her, do you?

With an Indie/Rock style, she has been playing music since she was 10 and has now
played at the Tablelands Folk Festival, Cairns Eco Fiesta, Cairns Festival, Tanks Arts
Centre and multiple other gigs around her community.

Our Story

Cairns Voice Studio is a professional voice, performance and industry studio in the beautiful Northern Beaches district of Cairns, Far North Queensland. Directed by Keesha Mclean, CVS coach students voice and performance of all ages, abilities and goals without judgement.

It’s YOUR voice and YOUR journey, whether to sing for fun at home, improve vocal awareness, health/rehabilitation, and confidence or training for a professional career as a vocal artist, performer, speaker/presenter, or teacher. Cairns Voice Studio offers a broad service in addition to Voice Craft & Health. Voice Craft & Health is the KEY focus, however for those students who are ready, CVS offers performance and industry experience & opportunities, audition preparation, workshops, mentoring, career advice as well as networking with Cairns, FNQ and National musicians, radio stations, events, and venues. Cairns Voice Studio covers regional Far North Queensland from Cooktown, Tablelands to Townsville. Skype sessions are offered to students & clients in regional areas.

Keesha is lecturer of Voice & Musical Theatre at CQU University, Cairns and member of ANATS ( Australian National Association Teachers Of Singing ) and holds Estill Voice International EFP Certificate ( Estill Certificate of Figure Proficiency ), and Graduate Certificate in Creative & Professional Practice, CQU. Keesha is continuously researching and evolving her own vocal pedagogy & professional development by regular mentoring and networking with voice specialists nationally and in London. Keesha is in demand for workshops, presenting, and as Entertainment Consultant for festivals, events and venues. Welcome!
