We are delighted to welcome Dr Livia Sipetean to Stratford Medical Centre starting next week. Dr Livia has been working with us for some time via telehealth, and she will now be with us in peson here in Cairns! 2 weeks face to face, and the opposite two weeks via video.

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) whether inattentive or hyperactive, affects many of our family, friends and colleagues. The wait times have been significant for psychiatrists, but now the Qld Government has allowed GPs with appropriate training to provide the assessment, diagnosis and initiate treatment.

Measles is highly contagious, and virus particles can stay in the air for several hours after an infected person has been there.

If you have any of the following: red eyes, fever, cough, red spots in the roof of your mouth and a few days later develop a rash, please phone your doctors office and make a phone or video consultation. We can assist without you needing to leave home, and order testing.
