What a truly beautiful celebration of unity and belonging across TCASS Darwin, TCASS Alice Springs, and Access by TCASS. Last week, our community came together in vibrant cultural dress and orange, reminding us that everyone belongs.
Harmony Day is more than a celebration of cultures, it is a powerful reflection of respect, inclusion, and the shared values that connect us all. Every colour, tradition, and story proudly worn represents the strength we gain from diversity and the harmony we create when we stand together.
Thank you to everyone who joined in, shared their culture, and helped create a space where differences are celebrated and everyone feels valued. Together, we continue building communities grounded in understanding, compassion, and unity. 🧡✨

"Today we celebrate the abilities and contributions of people with Down syndrome.
World Down Syndrome Day raises awareness of the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities and celebrating the unique strengths that people with Down syndrome bring to our communities. It reminds us of the value of supportive environments where individuals can grow, participate and thrive.

At TCASS, we tailor our services to the individual needs and goals of each participant. Our highly trained staff provide flexible, person‑centred support that builds confidence, independence and meaningful daily routines.
One way we support participants is through Varied Day Program Activities at our TCASS Activity Hub, offering inclusive social, creative and skill‑building programs that encourage connection, engagement and personal development."

💙 World Head Injury Awareness Day

"Today we raise awareness of traumatic brain injury and its impacts.
World Head Injury Awareness Day increases understanding of the challenges faced by people living with traumatic and acquired brain injuries. It also highlights the importance of rehabilitation, community inclusion and ongoing support in rebuilding confidence and independence.

At TCASS, we tailor services to the individual needs, strengths and goals of our participants. Our team provides flexible, person-centred support to promote safety, routine, connection and meaningful participation in everyday life.
One way we support participants is through Community Access, where we assist with structured outings, safe mobility, memory prompts and guided community engagement to help build confidence and independence following a head injury."

Neurodiversity Celebration Week recognises the experiences and valuable contributions of autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic and other neurodivergent individuals, while encouraging greater understanding and inclusion across our communities.
At TCASS (Territory Care and Support Services), we believe diversity in thinking strengthens us all. That’s why we tailor our services to the individual needs, goals and preferences of every participant. Our team provides flexible, person‑centred support that builds confidence, independence and meaningful connection in everyday life.
