Meet the Team | FIONA HODGSON | Care Coordinator

Born in beautiful Mossman in North Queensland, Fiona brings that unmistakable Far North Queensland warmth wherever she goes. She married in Port Douglas in 1996 and moved to Innisfail in 1998, where she and her husband have raised their four children. Fiona is also a very proud Nanny to her 2 granddaughters and grandson. Family remains at the centre of her life and values.

Fiona joined Right at Home as a Home Care Worker in 2023, bringing with her extensive experience in disability and personal care. Her background spans a variety of settings, including SIL accommodation with 24/7 support, Inclusive Education and High School roles in Innisfail, and an SDA home in Gordonvale. Her genuine passion for caring for others shines through in every interaction—she truly loves supporting people and making a meaningful difference in their lives. In October 2025, Fiona stepped into the office team as a Care Coordinator in the Innisfail office, marking an exciting new chapter in her journey with Right at Home. This transition allowed her to bring her frontline experience into a coordination role, where she now supports clients, carers, and staff with the same dedication and compassion she’s known for. Her calm, approachable nature and deep understanding of care needs make her a valued member of the coordination team.

Outside of work, Fiona is all about adventure, connection, and good company. She loves to travel, go camping, cook delicious meals, and bring family together for gatherings filled with food, laughter, and stories. One day, Fiona hopes to travel to Europe and explore everything it has to offer.
