Meet our very own Dawn and Hazel — two inspiring sisters and cherished clients of Right at Home Far North Queensland. 💙

After years of only seeing each other on special occasions, home care has brought them closer together. With tailored support for transport, independence, and companionship, they’re now living just minutes apart — and making the most of every moment.

Meet the Team | GEORGIA HATFIELD | Care Coordinator

Born in Townsville, Georgia had a nomadic childhood living in various rural and remote regions across Queensland. This lifestyle was due to Georgia’s parents buying and selling cattle properties and this has had a significant impact on making Georgia into the person she is today. After completing her schooling in Mareeba, Georgia accepted to Study Medicine to be a Doctor at JCU but fell in love with nursing and made the decision to change direction and applied to study nursing. Initially Georgia worked as an Assistant in Nursing. Whilst working, Georgia commenced and completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science.

Now a Registered Nurse, Georgia gained further experience within Residential Aged Care and has worked as an RN on a rural mine site. Georgia is passionate about supporting the elderly and this has drawn her to complete her Graduate Certificate in Aged Care. Georgia joined the RAHFNQ family as a part time Care Coordinator in November 2024, operating within the Douglas Shire region.

With a young family, Georgia remains focussed on caring for both her family and community. Georgia’s bucket list includes the desire to work as a missionary in the future, helping underprivileged communities.
