We are incredibly grateful to Michael Cass from Beacon Legal Advisors for generously donating his time and professional expertise to support Junction Clubhouse member Rodney Ramage in preparing his will.

It was a privilege to attend alongside Hon Warren Entsch, Board Member of The Junction Clubhouse Cairns . Craig Foster was an outstanding, engaging speaker whose insights really resonated.

We’ve been putting the donated basketballs to good use and enjoying some healthy competition on the court! Activities like this are about more than sport, they’re about connection, confidence, and showing up for one another.

We appreciate the support shown by our Federal Member, Matt Smith MP, including the recent basketball donation that’s helping create more opportunities for members to get active, connect, and have fun together.

Thanks to everyone who continues to back inclusive, recovery‑focused spaces where people can belong and thrive.

Wednesday is roast day here The Junction Clubhouse Cairns

Our members absolutely love roast day, and for just $7.00, where else can you enjoy a beautifully cooked, nutritious roast meal prepared by our amazing kitchen crew members?

Roast day is more than just a great meal, it’s a key part of our work‑ordered day, where members work side by side in the kitchen planning menus, preparing food, learning practical skills, and supporting one another. The meals are balanced, filling, and designed to support good nutrition, energy, and wellbeing which we know plays a vital role in mental health recovery.

Most importantly, roast day brings people together. It creates connection, routine, pride, and a real sense of belonging turning a simple shared meal into a meaningful community experience.
