Simon was all smiles while giving our new dining room chair a test run. He gave it a big tick for comfort and said it was a definite favourite, so keen we didn’t even have time to remove the packaging 😁. We love seeing our members enjoying the little upgrades that make The Junction a welcoming and comfortable place to be.

🐾 Yesterday we had two PAWfect visitors; Ramo and Coogi!
These little legends brought big smiles and plenty of tail wags to The Junction Clubhouse. Our members loved having them around, and they definitely brightened up the work‑ordered day with their charm and cuteness. 💜

We can’t wait to see them again soon!

Our second Christmas Day at The Junction Clubhouse was made possible through the incredible generosity of our community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed monetary donations and Secret Santa gifts to support our Christmas Day lunch for members.

Your generosity ensured the day was filled with warmth, dignity, and connection. The financial contributions helped us create a welcoming Christmas meal, while the Secret Santa gifts brought smiles, excitement, and a sense of being truly seen and valued.

For many of our members, Christmas can be a challenging and isolating time. Because of you, the day was one of joy, shared laughter, and genuine belonging.

Our second year of celebrating Christmas together at The Junction Clubhouse, Cairns, and what a day it was. Laughter, connection, shared stories, and full tummies filled the room, reminding us just how powerful community can be.

A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing supporters who helped make this possible, especially Margaret McMahan, James Construction, and TechnologyHub. Your generosity and support helped create a day of belonging for members who might otherwise have spent Christmas alone.

Thank you to Santa’s Helpers🎄
A huge thank you to Santa’s helpers from Janelle Pro-Advisor Online and Rights In Action for helping with the setup for our Christmas lunch tomorrow. The room looks amazing, the menu is delicious, and our beautiful Christmas tree is filled with Secret Santa gifts for our members.

Last Friday we celebrated the season with our members, staff and guests, and tomorrow we open for the second year on Christmas Day for our members who would otherwise be home alone.

We had a ball at this year’s end-of-Christmas celebration for our members and staff!

A huge thank you to everyone for making 2025 such a terrific year, full of milestones achieved, teamwork, and community spirit. This event was all about fun, whether you were rolling bowls like a pro or simply enjoying catching up with friends in the sunshine or those who preferred the aircon!

We were definitely on a roll! 🥳 Here’s to more great moments together in 2026! 💚
