Join us tomorrow at as we take part in the National Bird Count.
We’ll head out to beautiful Centenary Lakes for a bit of twitching (that’s birdwatching for the keen-eyed among us).

Meet at The Junction at 10:15am
Bring your curiosity, comfy shoes, and maybe a hat. You never know what feathered friends we’ll spot!

Let’s enjoy some fresh air, good company, and help count Australia’s incredible birdlife together.

We’re thrilled to share that The Junction Clubhouse Cairns will be part of the upcoming Clubhouse International Training hosted by Stepping Stone Clubhouse this November.

Two of our staff, two members, and one of our board members will be heading to Brisbane for an incredible two-week training experience alongside other Clubhouses from Norway and America.

This is a huge commitment and a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and bring back fresh ideas, skills, and inspiration to strengthen our community here at The Junction.

We can’t wait to see what they bring home to share!

Behind the scenes from our trip to Brisbane to present at the International Mental Health Nursing Conference! A huge thank you to for their generous grant, which made it possible for us to travel, stay, and present in Brisbane plus fund our amazing poster.

Black Dog Ride is a national charity dedicated to raising awareness of depression and su***de prevention across Australia, inspiring conversations and connecting communities to save lives. Thanks to Black Dog Ride’s support, we were able to share our work on a national stage and keep the conversation on mental health moving forward.
