for chemical training. Nothing brings people together quite like bonding over chemicals….safely, of course.
This week our members and staff took part in chemical training, proudly facilitated by Con, one of our own members.
From safety procedures to proper handling, it was a great way to build confidence and keep everyone working in a safe, supported environment.
Big thanks to Con and everyone who got involved. Learning together makes us stronger!

It’s Baking Group Monday at . Our members have been busy this morning making fresh cinnamon sugar biscuits just 2 for 50c, but be quick before they disappear!
Pop in and join the fun on Mondays, and while you’re here, grab a sugar-free soft drink or sparkling water for only $2 now available from the cafe.

Today at , we welcomed Ruby and our very own member Sarina for the Bright Sparks workshop.

Members learned practical tips to reduce energy use, save money, read power bills, and access rebates. All made simple and clear by Ruby and Selina.

Huge thanks for the incredible morning tea too. It kept us fuelled while learning.

Louise and Elias spent the week at the Clubhouse, soaking up new ideas and experiences to share with the people they work with and support in their Peer Worker roles across the Torres and Cape.
This week, their journey continues as they head to Thursday Island!
