We recently have had the privilege of inviting Wassie from Woven Through Time to deliver a culture weaving session with everyone. Weaving is a part of the Traditional Torres Strait Islander culture and practices.
The leaves used to create these masterpieces are from coconut trees, coconut trees are known as 'story trees', therefore every piece of art is made in a unique way with a story behind it.
